Sometimes, a generic gift just won’t cut it and you want something really personal.
Whether it’s a laser-cut replica of the midcentury home they grew up in, a brooch of their favourite vintage sign, or an artwork for their wall that captures a specific road trip memory – a Tiny Scenic commission is a way to say, "I get you."
how does it work?
An enjoyable, stress-free process
Step 1: Drop Jo an email
You don't need a brief... just tell me what you’re thinking or wondering – even if it’s just "I want something to remind me of my Nan's house," or, "What could you make me for my Vegas-loving bestie's 50th?"
Step 2: Discuss and refine
I’ll reply with a few ideas and sketches for you to ponder and feedback on. We can keep things simple or go for more detail and complexity; with options at different price points to suit your style and budget.
Step 3: Creating the piece
Once you're happy with the plan, I’ll send you a custom link on my website to purchase through, along with the date I'll be able to post your piece. I’ll then get to work, checking in with you as it all comes to life!

Custom Project FAQs
“What if I'm not quite sure what I want?"
No problem! I love playing detective and coming up with ideas to help you find the thing that's just right for you. Just start by reaching out and we'll go from there.
“What do you charge?"
Prices to date have varied between £40 - £450 depending on the amount of design complexity, materials and build-time involved. Because I work with various different materials at different sizes and scales, I can usually find an approach that works for your budget.
"How long does it take?"
Usually, custom-designed pieces take around 3-4 weeks, so if you’re on a deadline for a birthday, get in touch in plenty of time! Also, keep in mind I usually close commissions in late November and December during the busy run up to Christmas.
“Can I purchase one of your existing designs, but in a different colour?”
Almost certainly, yes! I do this for customers a lot – just pop me an email and I'll show you the options. If I need to source a new colour/material there will be a small additional charge, but if I already have something suitable in my stash I can do this for you at the regular cost of the item.
